AHA! Night: Kids Rule (Adults Too!)

AHA! Night on Thursday, July 9, from 3 to 10 p.m. brings live entertainment, art, and family fun to Custom House Square and nearby venues.
Visitors can watch Big Nazo Puppets, Aerialicious Entertainment, and Smile Factory clowns. They can get their faces painted, hear live music by Stone Gon, stroll the Seaport Art Walk, climb aboard a New Bedford Fire Department fire truck, try rowing on land with the New Bedford Rowing Center, play with bubbles, join a scavenger hunt, and grab a drink from Tamani’s Lemonade Stand.
Downtown businesses and organizations will also join the evening. New Bedford Light will celebrate its fifth anniversary with a children’s craft. The first 250 visitors will receive free Sorbae frozen treats. Adults 21 and older can sample wines from Coastal Bubbles with the first 50 pours free.
Shimmer will host a beading workshop, Verdean Veterans Memorial Hall will offer a paint night, and Sangha Yoga NB will lead a free yoga class.
United Way of Greater New Bedford will provide free crafts and games for children in Custom House Square.
