Acushnet Public Library’s Summer Concert Series opens with the Pearly Baker Band on Wednesday, July 1 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Bring a blanket or lawn chair.
The Grateful Dead tribute band features Tim Richmond on bass, Ken Richards and Mike Mahoney on guitar, and Eric Costa on keyboard.
Friends of the Acushnet Public Library will hold a 50/50 raffle during each Wednesday concert through Aug. 12. Tickets are $5 each and cash only. Jewelry donations for the group’s September fundraiser will also be accepted. Clean, gently worn pieces are requested.
