2nd Annual Cachupa Festival

The second annual Cachupa Festival is set for Saturday, March 28, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Cape Verdean Vets Hall in New Bedford.
Cachupa, or kaxupa, carries deep roots in Cape Verdean culture. Recipes are passed down through families, with each cook bringing their own style and pride.
One spot remains open for a competing chef. Organizers encourage anyone confident in their recipe to take part.
Tickets are $20.
