2026 Summer Sound Series: Funky White Honkies
Free live music is back in downtown New Bedford with the 2026 Summer Sound Series. The outdoor concerts feature nine Friday night performances on select dates from June through September.
Music runs from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted. The July 3 concert begins at 6 p.m. and will be followed by fireworks over New Bedford Harbor.

The Funky White Honkies are a South Coast band that plays funk, rock, blues, and soul. For more than 40 years, the group has entertained audiences across southeastern New England with a mix of classic favorites and original music.
