New Bedford Conservation Commission meeting
The New Bedford Conservation Commission will meet Tuesday, Nov. 3, at 6:30 p.m. at the Brooklawn Senior Center, 1997 Acushnet Ave.
Commissioners will continue a public hearing on Antonio Alves’s proposal to construct a five-story, 72-unit apartment building on Braley Road. Plans include parking and utilities within the 100-foot buffer zone of a bordering vegetated wetland.
A hearing on invasive vegetation management at Victory Park has been continued to Dec. 1. Additional agenda items include the Oct. 20 meeting minutes and the commission’s 2027 meeting schedule.
