New Bedford Appointments and Briefings Committee meeting

The New Bedford City Council’s Appointments and Briefings Committee will meet Tuesday, Oct. 20, at 7 p.m. in City Council Chambers, Room 214.
Members will review mayoral appointments to the Commission for Citizens with Disabilities and the Human Rights Commission. The Council will also discuss cigar pricing regulations, employee benefits, prescription drug costs, and the next phase of the Interstate 195 project.
Additional agenda items include parking, traffic safety, neighborhood concerns, property maintenance, and the proposed South Coast Renewables project.
Public comment is limited to the first 30 minutes. The meeting will be livestreamed and recorded.
