Vermont-style harvest basket workshop

The New Bedford Arts and Cultural Emporium will offer a Large Vermont Style Harvest Basket workshop Tuesday, Oct. 6, from 10 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Studio 260.
Instructors Karen Zukas and Annette Kelley will guide participants in weaving a 10-by-6-by-14-inch basket using reeds, rush, seagrass roping and an oak handle. Participants may finish the basket with black walnut stain.
The workshop is open to ages 12 and older. The $65 fee includes all materials.
