South Coast Chamber Music Series: Beloved Immortal
The New Bedford Symphony Orchestra will present “Beloved Immortal” on Sunday, Jan. 10, 2027, at 3 p.m. The all-Beethoven program commemorates the 200th anniversary of the composer’s death.
Beethoven’s Violin Sonata No. 2 in A Major, Cello Sonata No. 4 in C Major, and String Quartet No. 13 in B-flat Major are included. The program spans works from 1798 to 1826, highlighting Beethoven’s development from his early violin sonata to his late string quartet.
Performers include Emma Powell and EmmaLee Holmes-Hicks (violins); Anna Griffis (viola); Leo Eguchi (cello); and Janice Weber (piano).
Tickets must be purchased in advance and are not available at the door. If the ticket page does not display a blue “BUY” button, the concert is sold out. A waitlist may be available; email asmith@nbsymphony.org by noon on the Friday before the concert.
