Friends of the CTC Library 19th Annual Authors’ Brunch
The Friends of the Claire T. Carney Library will hold its annual Authors Brunch on Sunday, Oct. 4, at noon at the Marketplace on the UMass Dartmouth campus. Featured authors are Norm Desmarais, Jane Healey, and B.A. Shapiro.
Desmarais is a professor emeritus at Providence College who writes about the American Revolution and France’s role in the fight for independence. Healey is the bestselling author of Beantown Girls and writes historical fiction about lesser-known women. Shapiro has written 10 novels, including The Art Forger.
The brunch is a fundraiser for the library. Tickets are $65 and are available through Sept. 28.
