Vudu Sister at Play Arcade
Vudu Sister is a Providence-based band that combines gothic style with rock and roll.
The group features Romanichal singer and songwriter Keith McCurdy, violinist Diane O’Connor and double bassist Amato Zinno.
Their second album, “Household Items,” was produced and engineered by Ben Knox Miller. It marked a shift from the band’s 2011 debut, Bastard Children, with a stronger alt rock and punk sound.
Vudu Sister performed at the 2013 Newport Folk Festival as part of The Low Anthem’s Newport Homegrown showcase. The band has also shared the stage with Joe Fletcher and The Wrong Reasons, Dan Blakeslee, Brown Bird, The Low Anthem, Allysen Callery and Alec K. Redfearn and the Eyesores.
