Eat Local Challenge 2026

The Marion Institute’s Southcoast Food Policy Council is inviting residents to take part in the free 2026 “Eat Local 21 Day Challenge” beginning July 6.
Participants will spend 21 days learning how to buy, prepare, and eat food grown, caught, or produced within 200 miles of home. After registering, they will receive a daily email with seasonal recipes, nutrition information, shopping tips, and ideas for supporting local farms and food producers.
The challenge is designed to help South Coast residents build lasting habits while strengthening connections to the regional food system.
