An Art and Architecture Tour of St. Lawrence Martyr Church is planned for Sunday, June 28, from 2 to 3 p.m.
Deacon Maurice Ouellette will lead the tour. Visitors will learn about the church’s history, architecture, and symbolism.
Guests will view stained-glass windows, carved marble altars, and other historic details throughout the church. The tour also includes access to the sanctuary and St. Patrick’s Chapel.
Organizers describe the event as an opportunity to experience the beauty and craftsmanship of one of New Bedford’s historic churches.
