Community Together: Growing Food Together event

Community Together: Growing Food Together is on Saturday, May 16 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Ricketson Nature Center.
The free family-friendly mutual aid event brings neighbors together to share food-growing knowledge, trade items, and support one another. Gardening workshops, children’s activities, live music, plant and seed giveaways, and community gardening resources are all part of the afternoon.
A community swap table will also be available. Guests are welcome to bring items to share, but it is not required.
Participating groups include New Bedford Parks, Recreation, and Beaches, Indivisible South Coast, Groundwork Southcoast, and Humanity at Work NB.
