Unlocking Community through Empowering Creativity: DATMA’s spring public art fundraiser

May 12 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

DATMA will hold its annual spring fundraiser, Unlocking Community Through Empowering Creativity, to support this summer’s public art projects. Proceeds will help fund Bug Out, a series of large, colorful bug sculptures created by local high school artists.

The salon-style event will feature food, drinks, guest speakers, and community conversation focused on creativity and connection. Speakers include Michael Rose, founder of New England Art News, Andy Anello, founder of New Moon Dance Party, and Zoe Benza.

Speakers will discuss building creative platforms that offer inspiration, resources, and community outside traditional institutions. The fundraiser will also help cover the cost of powder coating the Bug Out sculptures.

Admission is $50 and is 100% tax-deductible. The fee includes appetizers and beverages.
