Basket Weaving: Cracker or Catchall Basket

This hands-on workshop is suitable for beginners and experienced makers alike. The three-hour class covers a sturdy 5-by-10-by-5-inch basket. Materials include a mix of reeds, an accent color, and a finished edge with half-round reed and sea grass. The fee is $55.

The finished basket works for rolls, crackers, pens, remotes, glasses, or everyday storage. Each piece is dipped in black walnut stain for durability and a classic finish.

Participants leave with a handcrafted basket.
