Call for Art: The Light’s Arts Illuminated to host live, open show
NEW BEDFORD — Area artists: Looking for an opportunity to show, discuss and sell your art, all at once?
Submit your work by April 10 for consideration for the next Arts Illuminated, a live, art-driven talk show, on Thursday, April 23, at the Steeple Playhouse.
Hosted several times a year by The New Bedford Light, the event seeks examples of your creative efforts, in any fine arts genre, from paintings to cartoons, sculptures to digital graphics.
Selected artists are invited to join host Devin “NivedArt” McLaughlin for a five-minute interview in front of a live audience of artists and
art patrons. Interviews delve into the artistic process, artists’ histories, and the stories behind two of your submitted works.
