Spin Into Spring! Community Bike Tune-Up

Is your bike ready for the Tour de Crème or a summer of riding to Silvershell Beach? A free bike check event on Saturday, May 9, from 9:30 a.m. to noon is a chance to get it tuned up after the winter months.

Volunteers will be on hand to look bikes over and provide basic maintenance such as brake adjustments and chain lubrication. They can also offer advice on repairs that should be addressed before riding. Replacement parts, including spokes and brake pads, will not be available.

Coffee and family-friendly games will be available while work is underway. Registration is recommended to reserve an arrival time, though walk-ins are welcome as space allows.

The event will be canceled in the case of foul weather.
