New Bedford City Finance Committee meeting

The New Bedford City Council Finance Committee will meet Monday, March 30, 2026, at 7 p.m. in Room 214 at City Hall.

Agenda items include:

• A request to permanently finance projects totaling $47.34 million and to issue or renew temporary notes totaling $36.62 million. The debt was previously authorized but requires committee approval for sale.
• A discussion on a proposed FY27 cost-of-living adjustment base increase for retirees, submitted by the New Bedford Contributory Retirement Board.
• A review of the Community Preservation Committee’s FY26 project funding recommendations.
