Award-winning author and science writer Maggie Jackson discusses “Cringeworthy: Discovering the Overlooked Promise of Awkwardness.”
Her talk explores how awkward moments and uncertainty can build understanding and resilience. Research suggests discomfort may offer unexpected benefits for human connection and well-being.
Jackson is a former Boston Globe columnist and author of Uncertain: The Wisdom and Wonder of Being Unsure, a National Book Award nominee. Books will be available for purchase.
