Environmental Affairs Special Committee meeting

The Environmental Affairs Special Committee meets on Thursday, Feb. 19, at 6:30 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall. The meeting will be live-streamed on the city’s website.
Members will review shellfish bed closures in Fairhaven tied to sewage overflows and hear from Public Infrastructure officials. South Coast Neighbors United is scheduled to present community-based waste solutions.
The agenda also includes tire shredding and storage concerns, compliance updates, and a legal briefing on the Bliss Corner contamination site.
