New Bedford City Finance Committee meeting

The City Council’s Finance Committee will meet on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2025, at 7 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall, 133 William St., Room 214. The meeting will be live-streamed and recorded on the city’s website under Quick Links, then Meetings.

The agenda includes a report from the New Bedford Economic Development Council on tax incentive programs and updates on related policies. The committee will also review several mayoral communications, including orders to hire an executive finance and operations manager and a lease agreement between the Airport Commission and Sandpiper Air.

Additional items include proposed real estate donations, school repair loan orders, and funding for schematic design work at Trinity Day Academy. Appropriations for waste collection and information services will also be discussed.
