Nora Brown at Narrows

Old-time musician Nora Brown will appear Saturday, Oct. 18, 2025, at the Narrows Center for the Arts. Doors open at 7 p.m., and the show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are $31 in advance and $33 the day of the show.

Brown’s music draws from Appalachian traditions, shaped by years of learning from master players and traveling throughout the region. Her banjo playing and clear, expressive style have earned her national attention and praise from outlets like NPR and The New Yorker.

Performing across the country and overseas, Brown continues to bring new life to century-old songs while honoring the musicians who came before her.
