Reuse, Repair, & Shred Day

Reuse, Repair & Shred Day is set for Saturday, Sept. 6, from 9 a.m. to noon in New Bedford.
Paper shredding will be offered at New Bedford High School. The service is free, with a two-box limit per person. Shredding is sponsored by NBCU and will be set up on the bus path near Hetland Arena.
Keith Middle School, will have drop-off and repair stations. Residents can donate gently used furniture, household goods, and clothing through the City’s Fresh Start Program and CMRK. Mass Save will provide a $30 rebate for working dehumidifiers. Free clothing mending is available by appointment for New Bedford and Dartmouth residents. Bicycle repairs and donations will also be supported by Youth Opportunities Unlimited.
