Community Town Hall #1 on Star Store building

NEW BEDFORD — A community town hall is scheduled for Monday, Sept. 15,  at the Steeple Playhouse. The session is part of a series hosted by the Arts & Business Council of Greater Boston and New Bedford Creative to gather public input on the future of the Star Store building.

Organizers are eager to hear from individual artists, small businesses, arts and culture groups and nonprofits, arts patrons, cultural practitioners, and New Bedford residents about how this creative hub can best serve our community.

It is the first of three such meetings this month, each at different locations. These town halls are the culmination of several weeks of smaller artistic discipline-specific sessions. Free and open to the public. RSVP requested.
