The 2026 Art Drive
Working artists across Dartmouth and Westport will open their creative spaces during Art Drive on Friday, Aug. 7, through Sunday, Aug. 9, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Community members can meet local artists, tour studios and see works in progress. The self-guided tour covers about 15 miles, with time to stop at local restaurants, picnic spots and ice cream shops.
There will also be free artist presentations throughout the weekend, including demonstrations of techniques, styles and creative processes. An online artist directory, printed tour map and studio guide help visitors plan their route and learn more about each stop.
Grants from the Dartmouth and Westport Cultural Councils, the Massachusetts Cultural Council, the Hellen Ellis Trust and other sponsors support the event.
