Weaving a large Cracker/Catchall Basket

This class is ideal for a first basket-weaving experience. The finished basket measures about 5 by 10 by 5 inches and features varied reed sizes with an accent color. Half-round reed and sea grass complete the design.
Buffet tables and desks are easy fits. Crackers, rolls, or small items work well inside. Beginners can finish in about three hours. A black walnut stain adds durability.
The class meets on Tuesday, Jan. 27, or Tuesday, Feb. 24, from 2 to 5 p.m. The cost is $55.
