Countryfest Weekend at Cisco

Countryfest is back at Cisco  and this year it’s bigger, louder and a whole lot more fun. For the first time, the festival is stretching into Sunday for a full weekend of country music.

The party starts on Friday, Sept. 5, with live music from Get Lucky, line dancing with Brightman’s Boot Scootin’, and mechanical bull rides, from 6 to 9 p.m.

Saturday, Sept. 6, brings even more action. North Country hits the stage at 2 p.m., followed by American Honey at 6 p.m. Got a sweet tooth and a competitive streak? Enter the pie-eating contest at 3:30 p.m. for a shot at a $50 gift card. Rick Walker’s Western Wear, bull rides, and more keep the energy high from noon to 5 p.m.

Then comes Sunday, Sept. 7: Family Day. The lineup includes pony rides, a petting zoo, face painting, and a bounce house running all day. Timothy James plays from noon to 3 p.m., with bull rides and snacks still going strong.

There’s no cover all weekend. Doors open at noon daily. Expect tasty bites from Cisco Kitchen and Bar, sweet treats from Erica’s Candy Apples, and drink specials flowing all three days.
