Fairhaven Village Militia Evenings at the Fort

On select Wednesday evenings this summer, Fort Phoenix will provide a glimpse into the past. From 5 to 8 p.m., the Fairhaven Village Militia will be on site in 18th-century clothing. They will share stories about life in 1770s Fairhaven and the fort’s role in the American Revolution.
Visitors can speak with reenactors and tour the historic bunker. A single large seacoast cannon will fire at 6:30 p.m., much like it did more than 200 years ago.
Admission is free. The site is handicap accessible. Events are weather permitting.
Dates for 2025 are June 18, July 16, and August 20.
