Ferreira will sign copies of “Infinite Moments of Love” on Saturday\, Aug. 22\, from 2 to 5 p.m.\, at the Underground Railroad Cafe & Gallery\, 213 Acushnet Ave.\, New Bedford. \nBorn in Cabo Verde and raised in New Bedford\, Ferreira describes the collection as a book of “r(e)volutionary poetry.” Her work explores spirituality\, liberation\, family\, love\, Africa\, and Cabo Verde. The book speaks to readers seeking freedom\, connection\, and self-discovery. \nPoetry readings are planned each hour. Tem Blessed and Heshima Moja will give special performances at 3 p.m. A DJ will provide music throughout the afternoon. \nLight refreshments will be served. The event is open for drop-in visits from 2 to 5 p.m.
