SUMMARY:Annual Garden Party at RJD House & Garden
DESCRIPTION:Luminosity is the theme of this year’s annual garden party fundraiser at the RJD. The event supports the museum’s mission. Guests will gather in the newly illuminated historic garden for performances\, refreshments\, and the estate’s historic setting. \nNew landscape lighting will bring the gardens to life when the sun sets. The project is part of a recent effort to improve public access to the property. Sparkles\, silver\, and gold attire are encouraged. \nTickets are available at three price levels and can be purchased online or by calling 508-997-1401. Proceeds support the upkeep and access of the museum gardens. \n

SUMMARY:Family Storytime at RJD
DESCRIPTION:Storytime is presented with the New Bedford Free Public Library at RJD. Attendees meet inside the mansion for a half hour of stories designed for all ages.\n\nFamilies may take home a craft kit to work on together. Visitors may also stay to tour the house and grounds.\n\nFamily Storytime is held on the third Wednesday of each month. The program is open to all ages with an accompanying adult. Admission is free.
