SUMMARY:Our Sisters' School Creativity Conference
DESCRIPTION:Our Sisters’ School will hold its first Creativity Conference on Tuesday\, Dec. 16. Local media are invited to attend. \nThis hands-on event features workshops led by local artists and creatives. Middle school students explore new skills and creative interests. \nThe conference runs from 12:30 to 4 p.m. Set up begins at 11:45 a.m. Programming takes place at Our Sisters’ School. Two 90-minute workshops are scheduled\, followed by a closing showcase. \nWorkshop topics include fiber arts\, resin art\, digital illustration\, wood burning\, natural dyes\, calligraphy\, cyanotype photography\, picture book creation\, and poetry. \nSupport comes from the Art Is Everywhere grant through the city of New Bedford and the National Endowment for the Arts.
