SUMMARY:Traditional Guatemalan Dance Performance
DESCRIPTION:In anticipation of National Hispanic Heritage Month\, the New Bedford Fishing Heritage Center will highlight Central American culture Thursday\, Sept. 10\, from 5 to 7 p.m. The free program takes place at the center. \nA local Guatemalan dance troupe will perform at 6 p.m. in the Fishing Heritage Center parking lot. Visitors can also learn about the center’s “Casting a Wider Net” digital exhibit\, which features stories of Central and South American members of New Bedford’s commercial fishing industry.
