DESCRIPTION:The City’s Department of Community Services is running a food drive that will continue through March 31\, 2026. \n\n\n\nNonperishable food donations will benefit PACE\, the New Bedford Housing Authority\, and local food pantries. \n\n\n\nItems can be dropped off at: City Hall\, Room 113 (Community Services) New Bedford Council on Aging\, 181 Hillman St.\, Building 9\, Entrance 1 Buttonwood Senior Center in Buttonwood Park.   Update: More drop-off points have been added:  Andrea McCoy Recreation Center; New Bedford Regional Airport; and the Howland-Green and Wilks Libraries. \n\n\n\nFor more information\, call the New Bedford Office of Community Services at 508-979-1464.
