DESCRIPTION:I AM Yoga Nidra is an effortless\, ancient\, guided meditation technique that consists of a series of body\, breath and awareness techniques designed to help you gently move into progressive states of relaxation and non-doing. In this practice you may be lying down\, reclining\, leaning against something\, whatever is comfortable. \nThis is a way to gain the benefits of meditation without having to learn how to meditate.  They include relaxation\, restoration\, stress management\, awareness. \nYou may bring a Yoga mat or something to lie on\, pillows (one for head and one for knees to support lower back)\, eye mask\, blanket\, water and a journal. The studio has additional props such as blocks\, straps\, blankets\, and bolsters. \nThe class will be  in the Artisan Center section\, Suite 2-11\, 2nd floor. SUMMARY:Community Boating 2026 Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:Opening of the Bay\, the Community Boating Center’s annual fundraiser\, is May 9\, 2026. from 6 to 10 p.m. The celebration will be at Kilburn Mill\, with views of Clarks Cove and the center’s waterfront campus \nProceeds support programs that help young people spend time on the water. Sailing\, mentorship\, and leadership development are the focus. The goal is to help kids grow\, both on and off the water. \nTickets include dinner\, dancing\, and a silent auction. It also marks the start of the sailing season. Funds raised support scholarships for the Summer Youth Sailing Program\, which serves ages 5 to 24. In 2025\, 88 percent of participants received financial aid. That support helps more young people participate. \nThe Community Boating Center offers hands-on learning and guidance. Programs are designed to build confidence\, teamwork\, and leadership over time.
