DESCRIPTION:Martha’s Pantry at Grace provides groceries each week to households in Greater New Bedford. The food available includes fresh produce and bread. The goal is to supply three meals a day for three days for each family member. Households may visit once a month.\n\nPantry is open Wednesdays and Fridays from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Service follows New Bedford school weather closures.\n\nFor information\, contact Grace Church at 508-993-0547 or office@gracechurchnb.org.\n\nCommunity members are invited to support this ministry.

SUMMARY:250 Years: Music of America at Grace Episcopal Church
DESCRIPTION:Greater New Bedford Choral Society will mark America’s 250th anniversary with a spring concert on Sunday\, May 3\, at 3:30 p.m. at Grace Episcopal Church. Tickets are $20 general admission and $30 VIP. \nThe program features a mix of classical works and timeless favorites. Selections include Randall Thompson’s “Frostiana\,” Aaron Copland’s “Simple Gifts\,” spirituals\, Americana tunes\, and standards such as “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” and “What a Wonderful World.” Audience sing-alongs are also planned. \nFounded in 1964\, Greater New Bedford Choral Society is a non-audition SATB choir serving southeastern Massachusetts. Ensemble recently welcomed new artistic director Brian Dean Sousa\, a New Bedford native with degrees from Westminster Choir College and James Madison University. \nMore information is available at gnbcs.org.

DESCRIPTION:Sine Nomine Choral Ensemble will perform Gabriel Fauré’s Requiem on Sunday\, April 12\, at 3 p.m. in New Bedford. \nThe concert features one of Fauré’s most recognized works\, performed with an instrumental ensemble in the composer’s original style. \nSelections also include Cantique de Jean Racine and works by French composer Lili Boulanger. \nSine Nomine is a 20-voice chamber choir marking its 33rd season. \nTickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door.
