SUMMARY:Community Vigil for Fogo\, Cabo Verde
DESCRIPTION:A community vigil will honor those affected by the tragedy on Fogo\, Cabo Verde\, on Friday\, Sept. 11\, at 6 p.m. at Our Lady of the Assumption Church\, 47 S. Sixth St.\, New Bedford. \nOrganizers ask attendees to wear white and bring a white candle. \nThose attending should bring a chair and plan for the weather. Seating is available on a first-come\, first-served basis. \nPadre Pio Gottin Charities is also collecting funds for individuals and families. Donations may be made through Venmo at @PadrePioGottin-CharitiesInc\, by cash or check to a member of the organization\, or by mailing a check to Padre Pio Gottin Charities\, P.O. Box 7094\, Brockton\, MA 02302.
