SUMMARY:Yoron Israel & High Standards at Acoustic Jazz Concert
DESCRIPTION:New Bedford JazzFest is back with its Acoustic Jazz Series on Sunday\, April 19\, from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Steeple Playhouse. Doors open at 3:30 p.m. Tickets are $30 for adults\, $25 for seniors\, students\, and military\, and $5 for Mass residents. Card to Culture. \nThe concert features Yoron Israel and High Standards in an informal setting with live acoustic jazz and space for conversation. The March 1 date was postponed due to the weather. \nIsrael is a drummer\, composer\, and Berklee College of Music professor. He has performed with Sonny Rollins\, Ahmad Jamal\, and others. He will be joined by Ian Buss\, Laszlo Gardony\, Greg Loughman\, and Nadia Washington.
