DESCRIPTION:A special evening concert of folk and country music features well-known area entertainer Mike Couto\, Lisa Couto and Billy Mulligan Jr. \nThe show will be held  on Saturday\, June 13.  Tickets $20 online (+fees) and $25 at the door of the Knights of Columbus hall in Mattapoisett. \nMike Couto began entertaining at Stonehill College in 1963 as a member of The Country Squires\, a folk-singing foursome. Sixty years later\, he is still at it\, singing his original songs and other crowd favorites at local venues on the South Coast.  Mike  is retired from a career as a mathematics teacher\, primarily at New Bedford High School. He was an award-winning photographer for the Standard-Times in New Bedford. \nLisa Couto’s style incorporates pop\, R&B\, rock\, and folk influences. She can be found singing originals and covers around New England. Her laidback style and soulful vocals capture audiences and create devoted followers and friends wherever she goes. \nBilly Mulligan Jr. grew up listening to and watching his dad\, Bill\, perform throughout New England’s South Coast as half of the duo\, Couto & Mulligan. Mixing a sweet voice and nifty guitar licks\, Billy is a popular music-maker at country gigs\, fairs\, festivals\, and farmers’ markets.
