DESCRIPTION:NEW BEDFORD —  The coalition “De-ICE Citizens Bank” will protest the bank’s alleged ties to two prison companies operating dozens of ICE detention facilities across the country\, on Saturday\, June 6. \nCitizens Bank\, headquartered in Providence\, R.I\,  has played a key role in financing the GEO Group and CoreCivic\, according to the coalition.  It says the company has been deepening its support of the companies\, as allegations of mistreatment at facilities continue. \nThe protest will be held at the Citizens Bank location in New Bedford.
