DESCRIPTION:Love to show “your” art and talk about the meaning behind it?  Would you like a chance to bring that on stage before a live audience?   Then apply for The New Bedford Light’s next Arts Illuminated on Wednesday\, Aug. 26\, at the Steeple Playhouse in New Bedford.\nIt’s a place where area artists and art enthusiasts can take part in a talk show befoer a live audience\,  hosted by local art entrepreneur Devin “NivedArt” McLaughlin. Framed by examples of your work\, Devin will conduct a five-minute interview about your process and inspirations. \nGuests and audience members alike can stay for the signature Afterglow reception to chat\, browse and buy artwork.  And the event is free! \nHere’s what artist Caryn Phipps (see her interview here) had to say about her experience at our June 19 show: \n“Participating in Arts Illuminated was a great way for me to meet fellow artists in my area and hear directly from them about their process and artistic career. I also learned about new artist groups in my area. Working with the team was painless\, Devin was friendly and welcoming and made the interview process enjoyable with his insightful questions guiding the conversation.
