No photo ID is required.\n\nEach household receives prepackaged fresh\, frozen\, and pantry food items based on availability. Markets typically last an hour and a half\, or less when food runs out\, which happens often. There are no town residency\, eligibility\, or Y membership requirements.\n\nAll in need are welcome to take advantage of this free program on a first-come\, first-served basis.\n\nThe markets are part of  the Full Plate Project (FPP)  which embodies the Y’s mission of strengthening communities through youth development\, healthy living\, and social responsibility. Traveling from Mexico\, he continues a carving tradition advanced by master artists Jacobo and María Ángeles\, whose work appears in the exhibition. \nParticipants will paint a small wooden nahualito using a provided kit that includes a pre-carved figure\, acrylic paints\, brushes\, and tools. Ángeles will demonstrate traditional techniques such as fine-line brushing and pointillism\, and explain the symbolism behind common Zapotec patterns.
