He’s a retired fine arts professor with more than 50 years of experience. Tió’s work is displayed in major collections\, including the Andy Warhol Foundation and the White House. \nClass work draws inspiration from the exhibition “RESISTANCE: Cultural and Political Narratives in Mexican Art.” It looks at how artists use printmaking to explore identity\, memory\, and social ideas. \nStudents will create designs by carving linoleum blocks and printing them. The work will come together in a final group composition. \nThe workshop is open to beginners and practicing artists. No experience is required.

DESCRIPTION:WAREHAM — Damien’s Food Pantry provides food to residents of Bristol\, Plymouth and Barnstable counties on Thursdays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon. \nIts mission is to help end hunger in the South Coast region of Massachusetts by providing food to individuals experiencing food insecurity\, promoting education and awareness about hunger in our community\, and providing information to our guests about other community resources. All are welcome. \nFirst-time visitors will need to provide information about their household. They are required to complete a short application\, show proof of residency\, and verify all occupants residing in the home. Verifications will be required annually. New applications are accepted Thursdays and Saturdays between 8-11:30 a.m. \nThe last shop of the day will start at 11:45 a.m.  Anyone arriving after 11:45 a.m. will receive a pre-packaged box of food. \nThe pantry will be closed Friday\, July 4- Monday\, July 7. \nThe organization makes food available to over 1\,200 households monthly.  If you or someone you know needs food\, please contact us.   The pantry is located at 242 Marion Road\, Wareham\, MA 02571.  Mailing Address: P.O. Organizers say the program comes at a timely moment as soccer prepares for a global spotlight in 2026. \nFollowing the presentation\, Gonsalves will moderate a panel discussion with Lucio Santos\, Carlos Medina\, and Yasmina Carvalho. The conversation will explore the sport’s cultural influence and its ability to connect communities across generations and borders. \nAn audience question-and-answer session begins at 7:15 p.m. A reception with light refreshments follows from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Jacobs Family Gallery.
