Participants will be asked to provide basic information including ZIP code and the number of people living in their household. No photo ID is required.\n\nEach household receives prepackaged fresh\, frozen\, and pantry food items based on availability. Markets typically last an hour and a half\, or less when food runs out\, which happens often. There are no town residency\, eligibility\, or Y membership requirements.\n\nAll in need are welcome to take advantage of this free program on a first-come\, first-served basis.\n\nThe markets are part of  the Full Plate Project (FPP)  which embodies the Y’s mission of strengthening communities through youth development\, healthy living\, and social responsibility. DESCRIPTION:Weekly virtual meetings address gaps in emergency food resources in Southeastern Massachusetts. Sessions are on Wednesdays from 2 to 3 p.m. The same Zoom link is used each week. \nSouthcoast Food Policy Council will lead the discussion. The focus is on preparing for disruptions to food relief programs and strengthening the regional food system. \nThe meetings aim to bring people together and find common challenges while building practical solutions. DESCRIPTION:Ink & Identity: Printmaking with Adrian Tió is scheduled for Wednesdays\, May 27 to June 17  from 5 to 8 p.m. The fee is $250. \nMaster printmaker Adrian Tió leads the four-week workshop. He’s a retired fine arts professor with more than 50 years of experience. Tió’s work is displayed in major collections\, including the Andy Warhol Foundation and the White House. \nClass work draws inspiration from the exhibition “RESISTANCE: Cultural and Political Narratives in Mexican Art.” It looks at how artists use printmaking to explore identity\, memory\, and social ideas. \nStudents will create designs by carving linoleum blocks and printing them. The work will come together in a final group composition. \nThe workshop is open to beginners and practicing artists. No experience is required.

DESCRIPTION:WAREHAM — Damien’s Food Pantry provides food to residents of Bristol\, Plymouth and Barnstable counties on Thursdays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to noon. \nIts mission is to help end hunger in the South Coast region of Massachusetts by providing food to individuals experiencing food insecurity\, promoting education and awareness about hunger in our community\, and providing information to our guests about other community resources. All are welcome. \nFirst-time visitors will need to provide information about their household. They are required to complete a short application\, show proof of residency\, and verify all occupants residing in the home. Verifications will be required annually. New applications are accepted Thursdays and Saturdays between 8-11:30 a.m. \nThe last shop of the day will start at 11:45 a.m.  Anyone arriving after 11:45 a.m. will receive a pre-packaged box of food. \nThe pantry will be closed Friday\, July 4- Monday\, July 7. \nThe organization makes food available to over 1\,200 households monthly.  If you or someone you know needs food\, please contact us.   The pantry is located at 242 Marion Road\, Wareham\, MA 02571.  Mailing Address: P.O. The award-winning biography connects Trotter’s work to the wider history of Black radicalism in America.
