DESCRIPTION:New Bedford Science Café will host a discussion on endangered species protections on Tuesday\, Nov. 3\, from 6 to 8 p.m.\, at Last Round Bar & Grille. \nSpeakers include Dr. Michael Moore\, an emeritus veterinarian and marine scientist at Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution\, and Brooke Kushwaha\, an environmental reporter for The New Bedford Light. Admission is free. \nKushwaha will discuss proposed changes to endangered species regulations and their impact on wildlife. Moore will address threats to North Atlantic right whales from vessel strikes and fishing gear. He will also discuss ways to reduce harm from shipping and fishing activities. \nBeverages are available for purchase. Free parking is available behind the building. \n
