SUMMARY:Buttonwood Buddies at BPZoo
DESCRIPTION:Preschoolers can get outside\, make some new friends\, and meet a few animal friends during Buttonwood Buddies at Buttonwood Park Zoo. The weekly playgroup is designed for children ages 2 to 5 and runs Thursdays from 9 to 10 a.m.\, Oct. 1 through Nov. 19. There will be no session on Oct. 15. \nEach session includes outdoor play\, crafts\, songs\, and story time\, along with a chance to meet some of the zoo’s animals. A zoo educator leads the activities\, giving children and their grown-ups time to play and explore together. \nFeatured animals include a red fox\, Russian tortoise\, corn snake\, leopard gecko\, invertebrates\, green aracari\, and striped skunk. \nZoo members pay $16 per session\, and nonmembers pay $27.
