DESCRIPTION:The Acushnet Public Library’s Summer Concert Series continues with Pumpkin Head Ted on Wednesday\, July 8\, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair.\n\nPumpkin Head Ted has been performing across New England for more than 30 years. Its music draws from Americana\, blues\, jazz\, country\, rock\, and other styles. The band includes Tom Short\, John Nieman\, Jason Smith\, Matt Ryckebusch\, and Eric Costa.\n\nSupport for the series comes from the Local Cultural Councils of Acushnet\, Freetown\, Rochester\, and New Bedford\, the Mass Cultural Council\, and the Acushnet Lions Club.\n\nFriends of the Acushnet Public Library will hold a 50/50 raffle during the concert. Tickets are $5 each and cash only. Jewelry donations for the group’s September fundraiser will also be accepted. Clean\, gently worn pieces are requested.\n  \n
