SUMMARY:Vanishing Ecologies: Nature Walk Protecting a Changing Ecology
DESCRIPTION:DNRT Executive Director Nick Wildman will lead a one-mile guided walk at Slocum’s River Reserve at 9 a.m. Saturday\, Sept. 19. The rain date is Sunday\, Sept. 27.\n\nWildman will discuss habitat protection\, climate adaptation\, and how environmental changes affect management of protected land.\n\nParticipants will meet at the reserve parking lot\, about one-tenth of a mile south of 300 Horseneck Road in Dartmouth\, across from the Sylvan Nursery barn. The walk lasts about one hour. Sturdy shoes and protection from mosquitoes and ticks are recommended.
