SUMMARY:Menstrual Access Drive
DESCRIPTION:The community is encouraged to support women and girls through a menstrual access drive addressing period poverty in the region.\nOrganizers have spent years providing advocacy\, education\, and product distribution. More than 800 women and girls received essential hygiene items last year\, helping them attend school and work with dignity. Continued donations are needed to sustain the effort.\n\nSupplies of tampons are currently sufficient. Donations of menstrual pads and new underwear\, with tags or in unopened packages\, are needed.\nDrop-offs are accepted May 14 through June 30\, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.\, at YWCA Southeastern Massachusetts\, 20 South Sixth St.\, New Bedford.\n\nFor more information\, to ask questions\, or to request products\, contact Brittany Coker at BCoker@ywcasema.org or 508-999-3255.

Reggae on West Beach (ROWB) is organizing a food and baby item drive for area families in need. \nBusinesses are asked to host donation boxes provided and maintained by ROWB. Boxes will be picked up monthly or sooner if full. \nThe business with the most donations will receive the 2026 Food Fight Trophy.
