SUMMARY:Dueling Pianos at The Vault
DESCRIPTION:Dueling piano shows are request-oriented\, interactive sing-a-longs wherein two piano players sit across each other and trade songs. The audience is used for the dueling aspect of the show. Participants are pitted on one side against the other. Examples of rivalries include country vs. rock\, men against women\, etc. \nDueling piano shows are typically 60 to 120 minutes long\, maximizing the players’ energy and audience interaction. \nTickets are $20 for general admission for a single folding chair (no table/dinner service at folding chairs) or $120 for general admission for a high-top table that includes seats for up to four people (dinner service will be provided to high-top tables). \nMust be 21 and older with a valid ID for entry.

DESCRIPTION:Is your bike ready for the Tour de Crème or a summer of riding to Silvershell Beach? A free bike check event on Saturday\, May 9\, from 9:30 a.m. to noon is a chance to get it tuned up after the winter months.\n\nVolunteers will be on hand to look bikes over and provide basic maintenance such as brake adjustments and chain lubrication. They can also offer advice on repairs that should be addressed before riding. Replacement parts\, including spokes and brake pads\, will not be available.\n\nCoffee and family-friendly games will be available while work is underway. Registration is recommended to reserve an arrival time\, though walk-ins are welcome as space allows.\n\nThe event will be canceled in the case of foul weather.

DESCRIPTION:More than 1\,000 runners and walkers are expected to gather for the 16th annual Women’s Fund SouthCoast Mother’s Day 5K Walk and Run on May 10\, 2026. \nRace begins at 10 a.m.\, with a kids’ dash at 9:30 a.m.\, at Cisco Brewers New Bedford. Registration is $35. \nThe fundraiser supports the Women’s Fund SouthCoast\, which advances gender\, racial\, and economic equity across the region through research\, grantmaking\, and advocacy. \nRace started as a volunteer-led road event more than a decade ago. It has grown into one of the organization’s largest annual gatherings\, drawing families and community members from across the SouthCoast.
