SUMMARY:A Conversation with BalletRI
DESCRIPTION:Join BalletRI dancers in a panel discussion with Artistic Director\, Kathleen Breen Combs\, facilitated by Shura Baryshnikov. This demonstration and conversation offers insight to the creation and production of a world-class ballet program\, including excerpts from BalletRI PURE DANCE. This ballet celebrates the power\, precision\, and poetry of the moving body. \nFrom the effervescent brilliance of George Balanchine’s Allegro Brillante to the meditative intimacy of Christopher Wheeldon’s Liturgy\, to the raw\, contemporary pulse of Yury Yanowsky’s Fading Creatures\, this program reveals the body as both instrument and storyteller. \nThree choreographers. Three unique voices. One unforgettable journey through movement.
